Ramos Gin Fizz

Ingredients

  • Gordon’s Gin - 60ml

  • Simple syrup - 15ml

  • Orange blossom water - 2 dashes

  • Club soda - top-up

Method

  1. Measure out Gordon’s London Dry gin, simple syrup, heavy cream, 15ml each of lime and lemon juices, orange blossom water and egg white. Add these ingredients to a cocktail shaker.

     
  2. Dry-shake the mixture vigorously for about 10 seconds without ice to allow the egg white to emulsify and create a nice, frothy texture. 

     
  3. Once you've dry-shaken the ingredients, add ice to the shaker and shake again until the drink is well combined and chilled.

     
  4. Next, strain the mixture into a tall Collins glass using a cocktail strainer. This will remove any large pieces of ice or foam from the drink.

     
  5. Finally, pour a little bit of club soda back and forth between the empty halves of the shaker tins. This will pick up any residual cream and egg white and ensure that you don't waste any of the delicious drink. Use the club soda to top off the drink.
