Grapefruit Whiskey Sour

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of fresh grapefruit juice

  • 45 ml of Talisker 10 Single Malt Whisky

  • ½ tablespoons of simple sugar syrup(equal parts sugar and water)

  • Mint leaves

  • Ice
  • 28678-ingredients-4
  • 1 grapefruit slice or orange slice (garnish)

Method

Start off by simply adding the grapefruit juice, the Talisker 10 Single Malt Whisky, sugar syrup, and mint leaves into a cocktail shaker. 

You want to add about 5 ice cubes into the mix and shake well.

Strain the drink into an ice-filled rocks glass

Finish off by adding a grapefruit slice or an orange slice as a garnish.  

There are a few more things you can try to add a little something more to your grapefruit whisky sour. 

You can make this cocktail just that little more special by adding either St. Germain or Elder Flower Liqueur. The fragrant floral flavour compliments the sweet but tart grapefruit exceptionally well.
