  • Absinthe - 30ml

Method

1. Take a cocktail glass and place it in the freezer for a minimum of 10 minutes. This will ensure that the glass is properly chilled and ready to use.

2. Once the glass has been chilled, remove it from the freezer and pour 30ml of Absinthe into the glass. Swirl the absinthe around the glass so that it coats the inside evenly and discard the liquid.

3. Grab a cocktail shaker and fill it with ice.

4. Measure and pour 60ml of Johnnie Walker Black Label, 1 tsp of Maraschino cherry juice, 2 dashes of Peychaud's bitters and 30ml of Brandy into the shaker.

5. Stir the mixture vigorously until it is well combined and chilled.

6. Using a cocktail strainer, strain the mixture from the shaker into the chilled cocktail glass.

7. Garnish the cocktail with a twist of lemon peel and a maraschino cherry for added flavour and presentation.
