Tiki cocktails have popularly been associated with a laid-back, beachy vibes. They are basically cocktails that are usually made with rum as the base spirit and usually a citrus twist in the form of lime or lemon. These popular tropical cocktails also tend to have some element of sugar in them. However, it should also be noted that there are several Tiki cocktail variations that do not use rum as a base spirit. Pina Colada with a twist
This cocktail essentially has almost all the ingredients that go into a pina colada with the addition of orange juice
What you need:
Captain Morgan Rum - 20ml
Orange juice - 20ml
Pineapple juice - 20ml
Coconut cream - 2 tbsp
How you make it:
1. Using a peg measure, measure 20ml of Captain Morgan Rum, 20ml of Orange juice, 20ml of Pineapple juice
2. Add 2 tbsp of coconut cream, stir and serve
Hurricane cocktail
This is one of the cocktails that is quite popular among cocktail lovers. There is also a glass named after it! Here’s how you can make it in a simple way -
What you need:
Captain Morgan Rum - 40ml
Orange juice - 20ml
Lemon juice - 20ml
Passionfruit - 1
Sugar syrup - 20ml
Orange slices for garnish
How you make it:
1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker
2. Scoop up the passion fruit out and add it to the shaker
3. Add Captain Morgan rum, lime juice, orange juice and sugar syrup to the shaker and shake well until it combined well
4. Once done, strain the drink into a hurricane glass
5. Garnish with orange slices and serve
Easy Zombie

What you need:
Captain Morgan Rum - 40ml
Grapefruit juice - 20ml
Lime juice - 20ml
Cinnamon bark syrup - 10ml
Mint sprig for garnish
How you make it:
1. Add ice to a cocktail shaker
2. Add rum and all the ingredients and shake until it mixes well
3. Pour into a glass and garnish with a mint sprig before serving
Jungle Bird
Try out this classic Captain Morgan rum with pineapple juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Although it has the most simple ingredients, combined together makes for a wonderfully delectable cocktail
What you need:
Captain Morgan Rum - 40ml
Pineapple juice - 40ml
Campari - 20ml
Lime juice - 10ml
Simple syrup – 10ml
Ice
Pineapple wedge and Cherries for garnish
How you make it:
1. Using a peg measure, measure 40ml of Captain Morgan Rum, 40ml of pineapple juice, 20ml of Campari, 10ml of lime juice, and 10ml of simple syrup into a cocktail shaker
2. Shake until the shaker is cold
3. Pour it into a glass and serve with a garnish of pineapple wedge and cherries
